An evening with P.R.S.

1024 538 bassman72

An evening with P.R.S. – “Footloose and Fancy Free”.

You’re used to seeing PRS with our guest artists but on this occasion they will do everything their own way.

It’s a special “Winter warmer” for you with reduced ticket prices of £9 adv, £11 on the door.

P.R.S. are Si Potts on drums, Steve Rodda on guitar and Mat Short on bass.

Absolute jazz lovers, the boyz in the Louth Jazz house band also share many other musical influences.

Steve has a penchant for Gypsy jazz and reggae, while Si loves his swing, funk and folk. Mat has always followed jazz but loves drum & bass and dance music too.

All three of them are undisciplined, rebellious and focus on fun first, form second!

This shows in the way they play, both in their supporting role as house band for a headliner, but when they perform as a trio. And this session sees them playing their favourite tunes in their own way.

P.R.S. tend not to rehearse much, as “it stifles what might happen on the fly” says guitarist and front man Steve Rodda.

This date is the perfect way to start the New Year’s jazz programme and as such, tickets have been reduced in price as our thank you for your continued support over the 2022 season…
