Jazz at The Mason’s happens every month on a Monday night – usually the 1st of the month.

Doors open at 6:50pm and the music starts at 7:30pm.

There are three sets of around 30-40 mins each with refreshment breaks in between. However, the bar remains open throughout the performance.

Born in Nottingham, Ben studied with Jan Kopinski, George Carmichael, Sheryl Bailey and Mike Hall before embarking on a career that has seen him perform with Kenny Wheeler, Andy Sheppard, Jim Mullen, Gilbert ‘O’ Sullivan, Tina May, Groove Armada, Jimmy James and Clem Curtis. He was also MD for Decca recording artist Natalie Duncan.

This gig sees Ben reunited with two of his old collaborators, Pat McCarthy (Guitar) and Warren Jolly (Bass).

They will be joined by the superb Woody Wood on drums for an evening of classic Be-Bop, Swing, Latin and Ballads.
